Cinnamon, a New Orleans native, has 14 years of combined nursing experience and 10 years as an advanced practice registered nurse. She has earned her:

• Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge, LA (2007)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University - New Orleans, LA (2010)
• Master of Science in Nursing from Southern University and A&M College - Baton Rouge, LA (2014)
• Post-master's certificate in Mental Health from McNeese State University - Lake Charles, LA (2020)

Cinnamon is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  She is also a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves Nurse Corps.
